Over on their fantastic website, the Viscera Film Festival have announced a few of this year’s special guests, including a special honour they’re handing out! Check it out:
Mary Lambert (director, “Pet Sematary”) is the Viscera 2012 Special Guest Speaker and will be honored with the first ever Inspiration Award onstage.
Gale Anne Hurd (producer,“The Walking Dead”, “Terminator”), Elizabeth Stanley (producer, “Trailers from Hell”), Lexi Alexander (“Lifted”, ”Punisher: War Zone”), Susanna Lo, (Manson Girls), Michael Berryman (“The Hills have Eyes”).
Get your tickets now for what will be one of the most amazing events of this year!
Also, RSVP for the afterparty which will be held at the Hotel Roosevelt and RSVP for the Post-Apocalyptic Brunch at Wirtshaus the next day!

A few scant details have been released about the Viscera Film Festival’s July 7 Red Carpet event that kicks off the 2012-2013 tour. You should keep an eye on their website for more information. If you live in L.A., near L.A., or happen to be going to L.A. at that time, you should go to the event which is being held at the world famous, historic Egyptian Theatre! It boasts an impressive line-up of international short horror films as well as some of the most spectacular filmmakers around!

There was a nice mention on the Irish Times website about the Viscera Film Festival this morning (for us Yanks it was this morning… ;D — LB)! Viscera visits the University College of Dublin on May 17 and 18. Like the article says, the event is free, but you have to register your attendance by contacting Emma Radley: emma.radley@ucd.ie


The line-up’s been announced for the two day event and, to quote Samuel L. Jackson, hold on to your butts cuz this is made of AWESOME.

Kelly Stewart, a writer for Fangoria and co-host for the May 15th Fright Nights starting at 6 with Karen Lam’s Stained and followed by Viscera Film Festival, has posted the full line-up for the event on Fangoria.com!
The event will be hosted by Stewart and Lianne Spiderbaby and will feature special guests Jovanka Vuckovic, Karen Lam, and Fangoria editor-in-chief Chris Alexander.

Going to the May 15 presentation of Stained and a selection of films from the Viscera Film Festival? Good news is that you can now order tickets! $10 for Viscera-only or $15 for Stained AND Viscera (I suggest the second deal. :D — LB).
Special guests of the festival are Karen Lam (the director of Stained and Doll Parts and founder of Curio Media, Inc.), author and filmmaker Jovanka Vuckovic, and Fangoria editor-in-chief Chris Alexander! The event is hosted by Kelly Stewart and Lianne Spiderbaby!
