A really great piece has been posted on AllHorror.com called Sometimes It Doesn’t Get Better. Written by Dave Pace, it points out the “crypto-bigotry” inherent when one sees male genitalia on screen instead of female and was inspired by the newest Troma release Father’s Day. It also calls out to horror fans to remember that “We’re seen as the freaks and mutants of the world too, let’s agree it stops here for us or admit we’d betray our own principles as human beings rather than look at a penis.”
